Hong Kong stocks tumbled Thursday, in line with losses across Asia, as investors awaited the release of key inflation figures due at the end of the week.
The Hang Seng Index lost 2.06 percent, or 373.46 points, to 17,716.47.
The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.90 percent, or 26.67 points, to 2,945.85, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange shed 1.67 percent, or 27.44 points, to 1,614.03.
